Nerja’s most exciting Horse Riding Stables!
Nerja Riding Centre (Rio Chillar) and Andale Riding Centre have now merged together. Andale Riding Centre is a Horse Riding and Livery Stables in Nerja, the Costa del Sol region of Spain. It is situated in the beautiful Countryside along the Rio Seco II, just to the west of Nerja. Andale offers a wide range of horse riding activities which can be tailored to suit your requirements. Whether you are a complete beginner and want to experience horse riding for the first time, or an experienced rider looking for a more challenging ride across the Almijara hills of Andalucia, a qualified Instructor will be able to provide the perfect ride for you. The minimum length for a ride is 1 hour. The most popular ride is a 2 hour horse ride to the beach at Playazo or there is a 3 hour ride which includes drinks and tapas. All day rides with lunch included can be arranged for the more experienced riders including a trek up to the beautiful white washed village of Frigiliana along the Rio Chillar.
Horse Riding through the Almijara Mountains is one of the most relaxing ways to see the beautiful wildlife and scenic mountains with the clear blue Mediterranean always in view.
For complete beginners we offer a half hour lesson before we take you out into the countryside.
We provide riding hats and have a range of sizes in riding boots but can not guarantee that we will have boots to fit all sizes. (Please come suitably dressed for riding)
Andale offers private or group lessons with teaching to advanced levels including jumping and dressage. Andale Riding centre has Nerja’s only Cross Country Jumping Circuit which can be hired out on an hourly basis or by groups for a competition day whereby we can provide lunch and drinks. The Cross Country Circuit has adjustable height jumps enabling the difficulty of the circuit to be varied according to individual riders ability. The course covers a 1km circuit with a variety of jumps for the more confident riders.
The Course can be used by individuals with their own horses or you can hire horses from Andale.
